PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR OWN TOPICS

I have added some and put a link to the archives on the side of the blog to allow you to easily get to older topics. In addition I added a comments section which I believe shows the 10 most recent comments made to the blog

But please feel free to add your own topics - things you would like to discuss.

Peace out.
Kate

Kate, I feel lame. How do you start your own topics?

On the top menu bar on the right next to your email address, there is a link called New Post .

Hopefully that works for you

All right Ms. Smart Pants.

Until I resolve this, if you would like a new topic added, post it here and I will add it.

Sorry for the inconvenience folks.

Peace and Love.

Just a few random thoughts for today:

The elementary school down the street for me has a message that they are going to have a "Red Ribbon Day," only the person who put up the letters spelled ribbon R-I-B-O-N. And people think the South Carolina school system is bad!

I'm reading Jon Krakauer's biography of Pat Tillman - the pro football player who volunteered in the army after 9/11 and was killed in Afghanistan by friendly fire - and I found out that one of the main reasons for the formation of Al Queda is that the US funded the tribes in Afghanistan to go against the Soviet-backed leadership after the Soviet/Afghanistan war. Once Communism fell, the US abandoned their efforts and left abruptly, leaving behind all the weapons the CIA had sold the tribes. Way to go, USA!

After watching two seasons of 30 Rock, Tina Fey's character is my role model. Which, if you've ever watched that show, you know that's really sad.

I just made enchiladas with WAY too much enchilada sauce. They're very runny and burning the roof of my mouth off. Eh, oh well...

Yeah, that's it for today. Off to watch Gossip Girl (shut up).

I glazed over once you said "enchilada". Was there more to your post?
